Job Description

  • Negotiation of rates & terms for new and existing policies.
  • Underwriting
  • Proactive response to clients
  • Prompt resolution of clients’ request/ queries
  • Design and placement of insurance programmmes for clients with approved insurers.
  • Preparing quotation / placement slips/ covers notes for new businesses and renewals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences, Arts, Laws, Engineering
  • Associate of CII Nigeria or CII London will be an added advantage
  • 4 years minimum experience.

Person Specifications /Skills:

  • Not older than 33 years
  • Good relationship skills
  • Good social skills
  • Good analytical skills
  • Good negotiating skills

Job Title: Assistant Manager, Financial Services Business Development

Location: Lagos

Job Descriptions

  • Devise strategies for the generation of business information that can aid the company’s growth plan.
  • Prospect for new clients
  • Grow the Financial Services business of the company.
  • Devise strategies for the generation of business information that can aid the company’s growth plan.
  • To be abreast of happenings in the insurance industry and the economy in general, with a view of identifying business opportunities
  • Bid preparation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Arts, Laws, Engineering
  • Years of Experience: 7 Years Minimum

Person Specifications / Skills:

  • Minimum of 7 years relevant experience, out of which 4 years must be in the Financial Services sector
  • Insurance Products Knowledge and Marketing Skills.
