Job Title: Head, Merchant Services
Location: Lagos
Job Purpose
- To drive the formulation and implementation strategy of the Digital Commerce Merchant Services business through business development; ecosystem development, product development and channel development to achieve maximum value creation for Interswitch, Merchants and Consumers
- To ensure growth and profitability of the Digital Commerce Merchant Services business.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Development – Ideate and design new products and product extensions that will serve Merchants and Consumers for the Merchant Services business.
- Ecosystem Development – Drive the creation of Merchant ecosystems for consumers to buy goods and services and Merchants to sell their goods and services
- Channel Development – Identify and design / develop new channels and touchpoints or enrich existing channels and touchpoints consumers will use to engage merchants and their services
- Drive the market penetration and market expansion of the Digital Commerce Merchant Services business across targeted markets within and outside of Nigeria.
- Develop Business Case Analysis for the justification of new products and services and oversee the research and information gathering process for existing and new products and services.
- Work closely with Sales, Products, Marketing, Engineering, Operations and Technology to achieve excellent customer experiences, customer satisfaction and market penetration
- Gather intelligence through surveys, engagements and partners to identify market requirements and use these to inform the review and continuous improvement of the Digital Commerce Merchants Services strategy
- Identify, develop and nurture relationships with Partners and Resellers.
- Develop and communicate periodic financial and non-financial reports to effectively monitor the activities of the Digital Commerce Merchants business
- Set, manage, and communicate performance standards & KPI’s for the department using Balance Scorecards and other relevant tools.
- Showcasing Interswitch and Digital Commerce at conferences in and outside Nigeria.
- Coordinating the response to Request for Proposals, Request for Information, Expression of Interest and other similar requisite documents demanded from prospective clients within and outside Nigeria.
Education and Experience
- Academic Qualification(s): Good First Degree in relevant discipline
- Experience (Number of relevant years): 10 years experience in business development, product development and market development.

Job Title: Product Owner, Quickteller Consumer & Lifestyle
Location: Lagos
.Job Purpose
- To execute the strategy for allocated products, by planning and coordinating resources, to enable the timely development and implementation of quality solutions and products.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the vision and strategy development for allocated products, taking into account the trends in the industry both globally and locally to enable the attainment of the business objectives.
- Create a roadmap, aligned to the product strategy, and conduct periodic progress reviews to support the alignment of stakeholders towards a common goal and to drive the execution of the strategy.
- Participate in the development of new products and innovations as a member of the project team and ensure that the scope and vision is adhered to enable the delivery of timely solutions.
- Coordinate the piloting of new products or features with clients, feedback the reviews, issues and defect to the project team for resolution to ensure the deployment of a fully functional, reliable product.
- Collaborate with the relevant stakeholders to launch and promote the new product in order to create demand for the product.
- Monitor and report on the performance of the product and identify any issues to ensure the sustained provision of stable and reliable services to all users.
- Provide technical support to sales and business development teams to enable the effective conversion of leads to revenue.
- Provide technical support on customer experience issues.
- Send weekly report and other reports as required/requested to portfolio manager.
- Monitor and track customer drop-offs.
- Research on customer experience improvements and work with relevant stakeholders to prioritize and implement.
- Collaborate with the relevant stakeholders to resolve product issues.
Education and Experience
- Academic Qualification(s): B.Sc.from a reputable higher institution

Job Title: Acceptance and Acquirer Management – Nigeria 2, East & Southern Africa
Location: Lagos
Job Purpose
- Support the acceptance of Verve in Nigeria, East and Southern Africa.
Responsibilities
Relationship Management:
- Builds and maintains strong, mutually beneficial business relationships with Acquirers, Payment Service providers, regulators, Processors, Domestic switches and merchants in Nigeria, Africa and across the world
- Initiate and follow up on projects, deployments at Interswitch and other stakeholders
- Builds solid relationships with our acquiring partners and their merchants to encourage merchants to maximise opportunities.
- Support the Team leader, Acceptance and Acquirer Management – Nigeria 2, East & Southern Africa in carrying out his duties.
Market Development:
- Design, implement and drive Verve physical and virtual tokens acquiring and acceptance strategy for focus regions and markets.
- Identify, engage and work with acquiring partners to grow Verve acceptance across channels in focus regions and markets.
- Work with key pan African acquirers, regional banks and merchants to grow Verve pan-African acceptance on all channels
Knowledge:
- Prepare research on regulators, acquirers, industry players in preferred markets
- Research acceptance trends and work with product team to develop and deploy solutions in African markets
- Develop training and knowledge sharing sessions for acquirers, merchants, processors and other stakeholders.
Education and Experience
- Academic Qualification(s): Good First Degree in Business or Computer Science
- Experience (Number of relevant years): 3 – 5 years of experience in a Financial technology and payment Operations.

Job Title: Frontend Designer
Location: Lagos
Job Purpose
- Responsible for implementing visual and interactive elements that users engage with through their web browser when using a web application
- They are usually supported by back-end web developers, who are responsible for server-side application logic and integration of the work front-end developers do.
Responsibilities
- Develop new user-facing features
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
- Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
Education and Experience
- Academic Qualifications: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer / System / Electrical / Electronic Engineering / Applied Physics / Computer Science or a related discipline
- Professional Qualification(s): Any relevant Professional qualification
